DO I GET MY OWN VA? HOW MUCH DOES A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT COST?

You have all the questions, and we have all the answers, so let’s launch straight into it! The following queries (or variations of) are ones that we get frequently, so we have compiled a list of our FAQ’s, and we’re here to set the record straight!
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING A VA?
In a nutshell, using a VA means you can concentrate on your business rather than toiling away with paperwork and admin. By enlisting the help of a VA, you free up your time to build your business, spend more time with family, generate income, study, even catch up on some much-needed sleep! Do whatever you want with your time without needing to supervise, train or worry about staff. Once we know what you need and we are on task, you can leave us to it!
HOW MUCH DOES A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT COST?
Our hourly rates vary depending on the number of VA support hours you require each week/month. The more hours you commit to, the cheaper your hourly rate will be! With prices starting at just $53 p/h, using a Virtual Assistant to support your business can be very cost-effective! (P.S – Remember, you only pay for what you use! That means no more paying staff to stand around in the staff room or take long lunch breaks! Every hour we work for you is 100% productive time).
HOW DO I GET STARTED WITH USING A VA?

DO I GET MY OWN VA?
Yep! You will have your own VA to manage all your tasks. Your dedicated VA will be your constant point of contact, but this doesn’t mean they will necessarily be the one completing all your work! We always match the task to the VA best suited to the job, then have your dedicated VA manage the job progress to maintain continuity. Working this way is super efficient and ensures we save you time and money by using the right person for the job at hand. i.e. a bookkeeper for your bookkeeping and a designer for your branding/logo design etc.
WHAT IF I NEED A WHOLE RANGE OF DIFFERENT SERVICES?
If you have a wide variety of needs, that’s fine by us! We can accommodate you by creating your very own dream team of VA’s; all managed through your one dedicated VA. There’s no extra cost for using multiple VA’s either! Your rate is determined by the number of hours you commit to each week/month, and from there you will pay that same rate for all our services (bookkeeping, sales calls, graphic design, inbox management, proofreading + more! )
DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO A SERVICE PLAN?
No! You can just sign up for our casual rate and use as many or as few hours each week/month as you need! No minimum or maximum thresholds to meet.
WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICE PLANS?
In addition to our casual rates, we have four base service plans comprising of 2, 5, 10, and 14 VA service hours per week. The more hours you commit to, the lower the hourly rate will be. Please note: If you require more than 14 hours of VA support per week, we would be happy to discuss a custom service plan with you.
CAN MY VA HELP ME MANAGE MY FINANCES AND BOOKKEEPING?
We sure can! We have several VAs that eat numbers for breakfast! Some are qualified accountants and bookkeepers; others are Xero certified.
WHEN IS MY VA AVAILABLE?
As a general rule, our VA’s are available between 9am -5pm Monday to Friday, however, your dedicated VA will let you know his/her office hours when you start working together. We attempt to match you with a VA who will be available during the hours you need, so please discuss your availability requirements with us, and we can work together to find a solution.
WHAT SORT OF TASKS CAN’T A VA DO?
While VA’s can help you with just about everything (from marketing and events management to bookkeeping and website design), there ARE a few things we simply can’t do! We will refuse to complete any task that is illegal or unethical. We also don’t provide end of financial year sign off (we like to work with independent Accountants for that part but will get your financials all organised and ready for submission). If you do happen to need assistance with some more unusual jobs, and you’re not sure we can assist, please get in touch and run them by us (you will be surprised).
WHERE IS MY VA LOCATED?
All Virtual Assistant assistants are located right here in New Zealand. From the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island in fact!
